Actually the neural anatomy of the clitoris is nearly identical to the neural anatomy of the penis.

Here are a couple diagrams I drew, since illustrations in textbooks are wrong (even Netter) and never include cross sections. The vein I drew in the cross section may not be the right size. I only dissected the nerves and based the vessels on photos in Lepidi and Di Marino.

Here are the nerves that get left out. They have been dissected out of the clitoral body (which is beneath the blue, I wish we took a photo without the blue stuff). I made it into a cartoon bc people sometimes get upset looking at dissection photos.

As you can see, these aren’t just difficult-to-study nerve endings. These are giant ass axon bundles that just get ignored.

That’s how my OB/GYN cut them. And countless others told me “that couldn’t have happened.” They don’t know it.
