As a woman who has been criticized and socially penalized all my life for not having enough empathy, I think this is bullshit. If there were half as many social consequences for men, they would have to be more empathetic too. Period.

Throughout time, people have always tried to twist science in order to justify bad behavior. I would question any research attributing a lack of male empathy to biology.
