Can we talk about how the “#1“ OB/GYN textbook contains more about male sexual response than female? Male sexual pleasure is so important that it receives more coverage in a textbook on women’s health! All 3 authors, of course, are men.

The main author is an expert on the surgical treatment of vulvar cancer (which can involve slicing out clits) but leaves out any discussion of iatrogenic causes of female sexual dysfunction. One thing interesting is how little attention is paid to the possibility of reconstruction after vulvectomy.

His name is Hacker.

I think this is hilarious.

The innervation of the clitoris is missing from this textbook, as it is from all OB/GYN textbooks except Williams, where it has been barely shown but not described, only since 2016. Even the gross anatomy of the clitoris is incorrect.

Getting clitoral neural anatomy included in OB/GYN textbooks. It was finally added for the first time in July 2019. BME/EE @WUSTL
