I actually have not been weak according to any of your definitions. What I was explaining is the cost of this so-called strength. Fighting a battle that can’t be won in pursuit of justice can mean the destruction of oneself. There are many arguments to be made for simply walking away.
As for the difficulty of speaking up in the face of secondary wounding, the costs have been well documented in extensive research. While I agree victims have a responsibility to society to say something, some battles may not be worth fighting, as battles often mean more harm and sacrifice.
Nothing I wrote has anything to do with an inability to say “no.” I don’t know the whole story, but I’m sure she did say “no” and more than likely physically fought him. The reality is that women do get raped and no amount of “no” or physical force can stop it thanks to size and strength differences between men and women.
