I agree! I appreciate everything you have written about this. I think what you are doing is really important. It is especially important for doctors to speak up when they see systemic negligence in medicine, as they hold more credibility than laypeople do.

The only thing I’m missing is how exactly this particular problem is sexist and why. What is the cause? I might have to argue that correlation may not be causation in this case. Is gender really the defining factor?
