Men, historically, have been a problem. Some men actually are still the problem. Men who are sexist, like AJ, are actually part of the problem, though he seems well-meaning and just misguided.

Obviously taking out anger on a child is never okay. But victim blaming is a common response to all interpersonal trauma. It isn’t gendered.
