Peer-reviewed medical journal articles literally say that protruding labia minora are considered “unfeminine” and “embarrassing.” They explain that a pre-pubescent aesthetic is ideal. They claim that labial hypertrophy is caused by excess androgens (patently false), excess masturbation, etc. They define the limit for hypertrophy of the labia minora as less than the mean found in normative studies.

How can we stop this active genital shaming done by doctors? They do this to drive demand for surgeries they are usually not trained to do.
