Review: Gynecologic Oncology: Clinical Practice and Surgical Atlas
1 min readJun 12, 2018
Women get vulvar cancer. You’d think doctors treating vulvar cancer would know detailed vulvar anatomy. Nope. The dorsal nerve of the clitoris is not discussed anywhere in this textbook, which is 736 pages long. This review is for the most recent edition (2012).
Chapter 27 covers “Vulvar and Vaginal Excision Procedures.”
Look at the list of complications and morbidity. Why isn’t sexual dysfunction listed? Excuse my language again, but this is fucked up.
Honestly, I’m done with this review because this textbook is too upsetting for me to even look at.
