The problem is the standard of care is negligent. I’ve had women who have tried filing lawsuits contact me. Lawyers won’t take their cases. It’s very hard to have knowledgeable expert witnesses when ignorance is pervasive. One woman said she was told she couldn’t prove her loss of sensation so she didn’t have a case.

Then of course I was working on editing the write up for this anatomical study today and what the plastic surgery residents have written is basically that all the evidence shows damage doesn’t happen, despite the fact that we are literally showing the nerves at definitely put in harms way by commonly employed techniques. They put “there are no case reports of denervation of the clitoris.” But I’m on the fucking paper. This was my study I pushed for and that happened to me.
