The thing is, depending on how you define “abuse,” the first statement is not wrong, especially if you only include women over a certain age — say 30. By age 30, I bet we have call experienced some form of harassment or mild abuse. But with the bar for what constitutes set as low as we are setting here — counting cat-calling as abuse, for example — a large number of men have no doubt been abused as well. Realistically, this bar for abuse may be a bit hyperbolic.
