Yeah so basically men are afraid of female sexuality because it is threatening. They are more comfortable thinking women are super emotional and need romance because then they don’t have to worry about raising sone other dudes children. It all goes back to the need for paternity certainty (which is a need really only in certain cultures), which is closely connected to slut shaming as well.

Also, historically women had to suppress their sexuality to raise the price of sex. They had to be like “Oh yeah I don’t really like this at all. Now buy me stuff.”
