YES! I’m so glad you noticed this. This comes from a study of cows in Thomas Lowry’s The Clitoris, published in 1976.

The problem is back when feminists were first trying to raise awareness about the importance of clitoral anatomy, there was no research on humans. They took this stat from cows and ran away with it. Cows have twice as many nerve endings in the glans of the clitoris than bulls have in the glans of the penis, at least according to that one study. I’m not sure why they were looking at animals.
