Your perspective is a bit bizarre and ridiculous considering how much more female desire and sexuality is suppressed in our culture and has been historically. Men have done far more to control female sexuality than women have ever done to control men. Again, no one has a problem with male desire, as long as it does not mean violating the rights of others.

All other motives I described were motives involving altruism. Doing something to another person that they do not want, for your own benefit, is obviously not altruistic. That’s the difference. It has nothing to do with gender or with desire.

Also, I said, “maybe.” I’m not actually convinced there are greater penalties for rape than for FGM. I think this is all in your head and suspect you have not done your research, as you never cite data when making your preposterous claims.
